Our first boat was bought in 1999.  Joanne and Cammie Cumminger put up the money to able us to get the boat built, and the generosity of the people and businesses of Pictou County helped us pay for it. 

We are forever grateful as it allowed Breast Cancer Survivors to get on with our lives with fitness and togetherness as a team.

We became Warriors of showing and helping others that we can still live a healthy and exciting life.

In 2013 we needed a new boat and because of Race On The River donating to us each year we were able to save a portion of that each year and we ordered a new boat.

Our new boat is fiberglass and more in line with competitive race boats where our older was not.

We are so grateful to the Race On The River Society and the people of Pictou County and of course, our families!
