Women Alike Breast Cancer Survivors Society was formed in 1996 by a group of Breast cancer survivors who wanted to support others mentally, physically and financially. The group is for all ages from Pictou COUNTY and surrounding areas.

 

The group is active in awareness programs, physical activities (exercise programs and Dragon boating),financially in purchasing prosthesis, medications and lymphatic sleeves and mentally by sharing their own personal journeys. 

 

Meetings are held on the second MONDAY of every month at the Trenton Rink annex at 7 o’clock.
